She is a BBC Expert Voice and has advised and supervised on-set safety during the filming of two BBC television programmes.She was awarded a gold medal for clinical excellence and gained her Bachelor's degrees in Medicine and Surgery at London University's St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College. She has a post-graduate certificate in medical humanities from Birkbeck University, London and is registered as a European Medicines Agency (EMA) clinical expert (anaesthesia).
